with the huge winter stom that is blowing through, Peta may have a good point - getting rid of the ground hog could be a good idea...and it would have prevented the return of old man winter. jk
As we dig our snow shovels back out and put our long johns on - we can least know that no matter the weather, business goes on - especially for our online businesses. In fact, this is probably a perk for us, as we all have to sit at home with our computers and browse for more treasures, gives us increased opportunity to support each other.
Sticking with what will probably be our main theme - the history spot -
on this day in 1953 - The Walt Disney’s film "Peter Pan" opened at the Roxy Theatre in New York City.
These wonderful stores offer a great selection of Peter Pan and other items, be sure to check them out -

Finishing up January
Hard to believe we are already 1/12 done with this year. Time for tax reviews to see if a refund is coming or not. Starting to hope that spring really isn't another couple months away. Have been reflecting on some upcoming changes to schedules as well - trying to better plan time to be more productive.
In the mean time, we are going to continue our day in histoy series...
so on this day in 1845 - Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven" was published for the first time in the "New York Evening Mirror."
We found the following items for sell by fellow Esty artists, hope you enjoy

For Haiti
Well, the week nearly got away from me - but I am determined to get this posted before calling it a night.
Our dear friends are one of the families that are in the process of adopting a beautiful little girl from Haiti and are now waiting to hear if she is ok and what this disaster means for their family.
Follow along on their blog HAITI OR BUST and you can also make donations as well.

In light of the horrible events of this week, I wanted to highlight some shops that are trying to lend help to all the people suffering. Please check out these shops who are donating most or all of their proceeds to help out.

WHEW!
WOW - can't believe how quickly the last 4 weeks went! Hopefully everyone had a safe holiday and New Year. Between finishing up custom orders and personal Christmas projects, time got away from me. But after a wonderful business meeting to regroup - I think we are ready to tackle the new year. We are looking forward to celebrating our one year business anniversary later this year, have some live shows in mind to attend and of course new projects sure to delight all.
Thanks again for all your support and suggestions - please keep it coming, we can use all the help we can get.
We will be updating our blog weekly on Thursday or Friday morning, so stay tuned for awesome finds, new products, helpful hints and more.
Talk to you soon -
