with the huge winter stom that is blowing through, Peta may have a good point - getting rid of the ground hog could be a good idea...and it would have prevented the return of old man winter.  jk

As we dig our snow shovels back out and put our long johns on - we can least know that no matter the weather, business goes on - especially for our online businesses.  In fact, this is probably a perk for us, as we all have to sit at home with our computers and browse for more treasures, gives us increased opportunity to support each other.

Finishing up January

Hard to believe we are already 1/12 done with this year.  Time for tax reviews to see if a refund is coming or not.  Starting to hope that spring really isn't another couple months away.  Have been reflecting on some upcoming changes to schedules as well - trying to better plan time to be more productive.

Other updates -

Megan's UFO is still unfinished, although it is further along than it was, new date set is the end of Feb, will post pics when it's together.

We introduced postcards this month with great success, please send us any suggestions on colors or themes you'd like to see.

Marci has been very busy and has completed many projects this month, most can be seen in the shop.  We will be adding a few more items over the weekend, including another bag to our "Juanita" series that is upcycled and too cute.  A brown and cream cow print shirt now makes a fabulous bag with suede edging.

Our dear friends are one of the families that are in the process of adopting a beautiful little girl from Haiti and are now waiting to hear if she is ok and what this disaster means for their family.

Our other goal is to finish up some UFOs we have laying around and one of those will be a rag quilt for Megan's daughter Kelsie that has been cut out for nearly 7 months.  It's animal print cotton on one side with black and cream flannel checkerboard on the other....so we'll be posting updates along so you can share in our progress on this as well as other UFOs

WHEW!

WOW - can't believe how quickly the last 4 weeks went!  Hopefully everyone had a safe holiday and New Year.  Between finishing up custom orders and personal Christmas projects, time got away from me.  But after a wonderful business meeting to regroup - I think we are ready to tackle the new year.  We are looking forward to celebrating our one year business anniversary later this year, have some live shows in mind to attend and of course new projects sure to delight all.

We did our first "pay to play" craft show on Saturday and it was a lot of fun.  Thanks to Cherrington Elementary School, Westerville OH for hosting the event.  We got to meet some new vendors and of course customers.  Look forward to working together on future events.
